One of the restaurant’s notable strengths is the variety and quality of its barbecue sauces, with three distinct options that enhance the smoked meats without overpowering them. The pulled pork, often highlighted by patrons, is tender and well-seasoned, paired expertly with the house SBK barbecue sauce. Alongside the meats, sides such as coleslaw—with a noticeable kick—and baked beans complement the main dishes, providing a balanced plate. Some sides, like the cornbread, have sparked mixed reactions due to their sweetness, but the overall side selection maintains consistency in flavor and portion.

Portion sizes are generous, underscoring the brand’s commitment to value without sacrificing quality. The menu is anchored by a robust selection of smoked meats, including brisket and turkey, which offer variety within a classic barbecue framework. Despite occasional comments on preparation nuances, the meats uphold a satisfying standard that keeps customers returning.

Smoke Brothers Kitchen appeals primarily to those who seek genuine Southern barbecue with a homestyle touch. Whether you’re a local resident or passing through Dover, this eatery offers a dependable, flavorful barbecue experience characterized by a friendly atmosphere and skilled pit mastery. We have enjoyed every meal from Smoke Brothers Kitchen. The food is always delicious. You’re made to feel welcome and at home. It has become our go to place almost weekly. I’ll be honest, we would love to go more often cause I end up craving the pulled pork with their own SBK barbecue sauce.

Very good food and nice people! Nice kick to the cabbage. The cornbread is way too sweet. All sides were good. Turkey seemed pressed meat. Thank you!

I visited Smoke Brothers Kitchen on November 30, 2024, with my wife and father. I had the brisket, with potato salad and baked beans. My wife had pulled pork nachos. My father had pulled pork, baked beans, and coeslaw. The portion sizes are impressive, and the prices are VERY REASONABLE. The meat was amazing. The beans seemed canned but doctored up. This isn't to say it was bad. Lastly, the potato salad was tasty, but you better like pickles, as it seemed to have a heavy pickle flavor. There is plenty of parking. We visited around 2 p.m. so it wasn't busy. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff were very friendly. I will definitely stop in again when I am back in Dover.

I usually go for the brisket to test a bbq joint. I was impressed. The brisket was on point. The sides were great also. The wife suggests the mac and cheese. Id say go with the hash brown casserole.

Babe and I had the brisket, Mac and cheese, beans, slaw and potato salad. Then we had the pumpkin pie and banana pudding for dessert. All of the food was delicious. Highlights are the tender tasty brisket and the barbecue sauce, the Mac and cheese, potato salad and the banana pudding. But again, these are the standouts when everything was great! The service was quick and friendly and the restaurant was clean spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended

Such a great find on our way home from LBL! The food was excellent! Great little eating spot coming out of the hills. It's pretty open inside. Really nice build out. Clean, neat, lots of room inside. Staff is so nice! Food was excellent. Came out in a timely manner. I had the pulled pork and hubby had the brisket. We ended up getting some of the BBQ sauce to take home because it's one of the best I've had! We will definitely be back because this place is really good. Good price for the food you get. Great atmosphere.
